Due to a powerful storm in the Black Sea, Russians had to disband their naval grouping, including missile carriers, and return to their home bases, according to the Operational Command South on Facebook.
“The enemy naval grouping, along with missile carriers, has been disbanded and safely returned to their bases. The powerful storm at sea continues unabated,” stated the report.
Simultaneously, Russian occupiers persist in terrorizing civilian populations, notably in southern Ukraine, through drone attacks.
Russian fleet in the Black and Azov Seas
Russian terrorists utilize the Black and Azov Seas for their military objectives. The Azov Sea currently remains fully under enemy control.
The Russian dominance in the Black Sea has decreased following the liberation of Snake Island. Particularly after Russia’s exit from the grain deal, civilian navigation once again faces threats, despite sporadic breakthroughs of the enemy’s sea blockade in recent months.
For instance, Russians recently fired an anti-radiation missile X-31P at a vessel entering the port in the Odesa region.
According to the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, the Russian fleet is currently less active in the Black and Azov Seas compared to last year. Presumably, the enemy anticipates freezing temperatures.
