(Saskatoon StarPhoenix)-Saskatoon police have put out a warning about a pattern of vandalism targeting vehicles in a pair of west end neighbourhoods.

Police said in a media release on Friday that they have received 36 reports of parked vehicles with windows shot out by what were described as “BB-type guns” between Sept. 9 and 27.

Most of the incidents appear to have occurred on weekends in the late evening or early morning hours, in an area spanning the Parkridge and Fairhaven neighbourhoods.

Police asked people living in the area to report any suspicious activity and to check any home surveillance systems for footage that might help the investigation.

Anyone with information was asked to call Saskatoon police or Saskatoon Crime Stoppers .
