Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today spoke with British Columbia Premier John Horgan to congratulate him on his election win.
The Prime Minister and the Premier discussed some of their shared priorities, including infrastructure, housing, and Pacific salmon conservation.
They also discussed the work undertaken by federal, provincial, and territorial governments to keep Canadians healthy and safe during the pandemic. The Prime Minister mentioned how much he valued the Premier’s contributions to the work done by First Ministers to fight COVID-19, and looked forward to his participation in their next discussion with First Ministers.
The two leaders agreed to continue working closely together in the months ahead.
