Several commercial properties in Richmond were raided by police on Wednesday morning as part of a cannabis investigation.
Delta Police, with help from Richmond RCMP and the Lower Mainland emergency response team and gang police, executed a number of search warrants on Wednesday morning at large commercial properties located in the 14000 and 20000 block of Westminster Highway.
Delta Police spokesperson Cris Leykauf said officers had made several arrests and were in the midst of processing the scene. She said the investigation was for possible crimes under the Cannabis Act.
No further information was available as of Wednesday afternoon.
